For clubs and teams
People rarely leave a club with a goodbye. They miss a few weeks, then stop coming. FiveClose shows you who has gone quiet, so someone calls them while they might still come back. Free.
See who has gone quiet
Put your members in a group circle. Each week Home suggests three people to say hi to: the members you've been out of touch with longest. The Circle page lists everyone, searchable, with one "Say hi" per person. Log a call or a message in one tap and they move to the back of the queue.
It works for a choir, a book club, a walking group, a volunteer team, a faith group, old classmates: any group of people who meet because they want to.
Joining takes one scan
- Members scan your QR code or open one link, which works for 30 days. Forwarding it to the group chat is fine.
- Make a new link any time (the old one stops), or switch links off.
- Lock the group and anyone who opens the link asks first. You let them in, or not.
- You can also add members from a list or a contacts file.
Keeping the group together
- 👋 Poke the group sends one nudge to everyone who joined, at most once an hour. Handy before a meeting.
- Members find each other. Under "Your groups", each member sees the others who joined, names only, and can add any of them to their own circle. In groups of more than 20, and for anyone under 18, names start hidden until each person chooses to show theirs.
- Outings and weekends away with a join link that closes when it starts, roll calls in a tap, and announcements that reach everyone. Deleted 30 days after the end.
- A session with phones face-down, or a brain race with a shared leaderboard.
When a member needs more than a hello
If someone worries you, ask them into your close circle as well. Close circles carry what groups leave out: a 7-day timer, moods, and a nudge to you if they go quiet. For an older member without a smartphone habit, you can set up their phone for them: see FiveClose for volunteers, caregivers and organisers.
Good to know
- People who are only in a group never see your timer, mood or location, and are never asked to check on you.
- No feed and nothing to post. Members don't have to keep up with anything.
- Free. A group of 100 or more people needs FiveClose Plus (S$49 a year).
- It speaks English, Simplified Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Indonesian, Japanese and Spanish, following each phone's language.
